Fluffy toys emulate prey animals, especially toys that make noise.
The squeaker being the noise a small distressed animal would make. Ever notice how your dog will often squeak then shake the literal living daylights out of the toy?…… yeah, that’s nature baby. Dissecting a toy (taking stuffing/squeaker out) is all part of this process too. Some dogs don’t go that far, the ‘kill’ is more rewarding, this can be breed related.

Fluffy toys work as enrichment as they allow the dog to express natural behaviour of owning, carrying, shaking/killing and sometimes dissecting something that kind of represents a prey animal (I know it seems like a stretch when the toy is neon pink)
